The Reality is a Gaming event held in EXPO Assen. The event was first organized at the Thialf Stadium in Heerenveen (2006) for 400 participants.
In 2008, the event moved to the Frisian Congres Center in Drachten. Due to growth, the event moved again in 2015 to the EXPO Assen (former TT Hall). From now on, The Reality attracts more than 1300 participants participating in the LAN party and a number of day visitors who join the growing game exhibit.
The Reality Foundation, is a non-profit foundation that, is established in 2005, the foundation is organizer of the event. The Reality Foundation aims to organize gaming-related events for people of different ages and backgrounds.
