Blazing fast connection for The Reality 2025 – in collaboration with Duocast
For The Reality 2025, we wanted to ensure one thing: a internet connection that is fully prepared for the demands of hundreds of simultaneous gamers. That is why we are creating a new infrastructure together with Duocast that is event-proof in every respect.
Duocast, a regional IT service provider with more than 20 years of experience in connectivity, has put a powerful, scalable connection between Groningen and Amsterdam into operation. Already this connection has a capacity of 800 Gbit per second and can grow to 32 Tbit per second.
We asked Duocast to provide the transport to the internet via this connection for The Reality 2025. They do this over two completely separate routes between Groningen and Amsterdam, which means we can count on redundant 10 Gbit of bandwidth with minimal latency – exactly what is needed for a smooth and trouble-free weekend. This connection ends in Amsterdam, at the heart of the Dutch internet infrastructure. From there, our network team connects The Reality 2025 directly to the internet – fast, stable and redundant.
